Tabbytha was once a feral kitten, that has shown huge strides in her foster home since she was trapped and brought indoors last year. She is a very timid girl, who does initially hiss when she's startled, but never swats or scratches. She doesn't like to be held, but her Foster Mom said she has came up onto the couch with her a few times, and accepted head pets, and even rolled over once to let her pet her belly! This is great progress! Though she's still learning to fully trust humans, Tabbytha ADORES other cats, and leans on them for emotional support. She rubs against them and nudges her head into theirs when she's in one of her cuddly moods. You can usually find her snuggled up with another cat somewhere or in a really good hiding spot. She also likes to hangout in a big window and chirp at the birds and bugs outside. Tabbytha loves to play with her kitty friends and with any kind of toys - laser pointers are her favorite and are also a great way to bond with her! The same goes for treats.... she never turns down a Churu tube or Greenie's treat! Tabbytha would do best in a less active, cat-savvy home with another confident, friendly cat. She coexists well with dogs, and would do okay in a home with respectful children 7+. Potential adopters should be prepared to be patient with her, start her out in one small room, and just watch her blossom as their efforts take effect!
