Bonnie is a chunky house-panther kitty (a hefty 12+ lbs!) with a little shy, yet gentle and sweet demeanor. She has a gorgeous solid black coat and big green eyes that are so pretty, legend has it, they have stolen hearts! Pictures don’t do her justice! We have learned that Bonnie is a very sweet, non-confrontational, and easy-going kinda gal. She just sits back and observes her surroundings. She is very friendly with everyone and loves belly rubs. She doesn’t prefer to be picked up often just yet, but is coming around with being handled more! Bonnie’s foster calls her “Chatty Cathy” because she is sure to voice her opinion when you’re late for her feeding time or when she wants your attention. However, she doesn't really “meow” - she chatters, and it’s so stinkin’ cute! Now that she is retired from being a Mom and raising kittens, she has really blossomed and shows her true personality more each day! She appreciates a good cubby spot to curl up in when the vacuum is running or new people come over (she's a little shy at first). She is VERY playful, especially at nighttime when she has the zoomies. Her favorite toys are ball tracks. She playa nicely with the other cats, and actually really thrives being in the company of other confident cats. There isn’t a lickable treat that she’ll refuse and you can always expect her to show up early for mealtimes! Bonnie is a sweetheart and coexists well with other cats, friendly laid-back dogs, and children. Her ideal home would be one with a confident kitty playmate. She is currently on a prescription diet and one daily oral medication for recently diagnosed Megacolon.
