We’re not going to sugar coat it - Pepper isn't a lap cat and she prefers you stay a few feet away from her at all times. She's not aggressive, but is a very timid girl and is uncomfortable with her humans up close in her bubble. However, she'll fight her urge to resist an offered Churu squeeze tube from your hand, or to chase that red laser pointer dot she's insisting on catching. She often becomes curious, and likes to see what you're up to, quietly following you from room to room like your little shadow, but always careful to keep her distance. She's recently shown interest in approaching her foster, but still has her guard up. Pepper is very playful, and loves hanging out with her kitty friends. You can usually find her snuggled up with the other cats, or playing with her favorite toys. She would thrive in a quiet home with a friendly kitty playmate, that can help her feel more confident. Pepper lives comfortably with calm, friendly dogs and cats. We do not prefer a home with children due to her timidness.
