Charm was a Mom once to 5 kittens, back when she was surrendered to Kitty Co. in June. Her previous owners abandoned them - left them with their pet sitter, only to never return... and we will never understand how or why. She's the biggest sweetheart once she gets to know you. In a new environment or with new animals, she can be a little cautious, but after a few innocent hisses and growls (that tortie tude shows), she warms up quickly! This beautiful, gentle, playful, tortie girl doesn't take long to adjust to a new home, and then she's jumping into your hands for lovins and pets! The way to her heart is with some toys and attention. Charm is very vocal when she wants something or wants your attention, and has the cutest little "meow" when she does. Charm prefers to be as close to you as possible! Her foster has a hard time getting a good photo of her because she just wants to rub into her hands and climb onto her for cuddles. We strongly believe that if she could jump into your skin, she would, just to be close to you. Her recent past of abandonment did leave her with a fear of being alone. Whether it's with another kitty or with a human, she has to be accompanied at all times, or she will cry, and cry. If you want a companion at your hip, Charm is your girl! She adjusts okay with other friendly cats, calm dogs, and respectful children over 10 with slow and proper introductions.
